She is a<br \/>\nresearch professor at the University of Houston Graduate College of<br \/>\nSocial Work who has spent the past ten years asking some rather<br \/>\nprofound questions: How can we learn to embrace our vulnerabilities<br \/>\nand imperfections so that we can engage in our lives from a place of<br \/>\nauthenticity and worthiness? How do we cultivate the courage,<br \/>\ncompassion, and connection that we need to recognize that we are<br \/>\nenough \u2013 that we are worthy of love, belonging, and joy?<\/p>\n<p>They are big questions, ones I struggle with hourly.
